The Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards is a story that has its roots over a hundred years ago, in 1895, when a dream-aire with a wild thought and a pack mule by the name of George Greata needed a place to plant his ideal fruit orchard on benchlands overlooking a lake. There seemed to be only one little catch-no water! Determined to make it work, George built a five-mile wooden flume to bring in water from a nearby creek. He finished the flume in 1900 and by 1901, the orchard was a success because of George’s driving energy.

Fast-forward to today, and Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards is still making wines that pay homage to George’s legacy, telling the story of this remarkable piece of land one bottle at a time.
