Lang Vineyards is monumental 33 years into making wine, and quite the journey it has been. As one of the oldest family estate wineries along the renowned Naramata Bench, this boutique winery grew from humble beginnings to a celebrated local gem. In 1990, founder Guenther Lang took the plunge and started making wines in his garage, thus launching B.C.’s very first Farm Gate Vineyard. From those early days, the winery blossomed, producing wines that always left a lasting memory.
This is because, over the years, Lang Vineyards has grown a reputation for producing very fine wines, with every bottle showing deep commitment to quality and tradition by the family. This boutique winery offers a more personal wine tasting and caters in a much more intimate way: you are in contact with the Lang family directly, hearing your winemaking story. That attention to detail, with the richness found on the Naramata Bench, pays back with wines that gain more loyal followers with each offering.
While Lang Vineyards raises a glass to their three decades of crafting exceptional wine, the winery could hardly be more excited as it faces the future. The ride is nowhere near over and, with every vintage since, innovation and celebration flow as the magic of wine is relished to its fullest-the here and now. It’s the next 30 years of greatness! Cheers to many more milestones ahead!
