He purchased 80 acres in Westbank, British Columbia, and after a short return to England during World War I, he and his wife returned in 1919 to start farming. Over time, Edwin started apportioning the land out to his seven children; today, his great-grandchildren Travis, Sheri, Nigel, and Hayley are still working the winery, maintaining the family agricultural legacy into modern times.
