SummerGate Winery, founded in 2009 by Mike and Gillian Stohler, is all about premium wines from their estate-grown grapes using a hands-on approach and in a natural way. Since the very beginning, they have followed sustainable practices such as low crop yields and smart vineyard management to ensure high-quality fruit but keeping things eco-friendly, avoiding petro-chemicals. Excellence drips from each bottle, emphasizing crisp, fruit-forward whites, delicious rosés, and fresh frizzante-style wines.

Most of the magic at SummerGate tends to take place from grapevine to bottle. The guys at SummerGate carefully grapes hand-picked, softly pressing and leaving the slow miracle of small stainless steel-tank fermentation to take its turn. This leads to wineries with wines that are nothing but pure representations of Okanagan terroir, refreshing after every sip.
